Practice Philosophy
Point in Point Forward is an acronym for the power of intentionality and truth. It's not a perfect acronym, and that's okay. We often get caught up in the pursuit of perfection at the expense of authenticity.
To point forward is to live a life focusing on the process of growth. The goal is not to fix problems, but to access and embrace wholeness. It is a choice to prioritize integrity in mind, body, and spirit so that our actions parallel our values. We switch our focus from what we are doing, to why are we doing it- allowing us to access an infinite number of ways to live our truth.

“It seems to me that the good life is not any fixed state. […] The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
Carl Rogers

Leaning into our values we accept what we cannot change and commit to a life on our terms- appreciating both the gold and shadow that make us complete.
Therapeutic Modalities
Central to providing ethical and competent psychotherapy services is the use of evidenced based frameworks. My approach is not exclusive to a singular method; I believe in utilizing a wide range of resources to best meet the individual needs of my clients. For clients who like knowing the nuts and bolts of the process, I'm always happy to explain the framework I am using. The adjacent list includes some of the most commonly used modalities I utilize in session.
